The SSI Dive Guide program provides candidates with the knowledge and training to be able to supervise and guide certified divers on recreational scuba dives.
During the seven (7) dives you will learn how to guide on various scuba and snorkel dives, and how to assist an instructor on a Try Dive and Open Water Diver course.
Minimum age: 15/18 years
Duration: minimum 1 week
Includes: Necessary dives, digital pack, exam and digital certification.
Prerequisites: Hold the Advanced Adventurer programme or higher, or equivalent certification from another recognised certifier. Have logged a minimum of 40 dives. ( 50 to be eligible for certification )
To be able to work as an active Diveguide you must be 18 years old.
Hold the Diver Stress & Rescue certification, and have the specialties or sample experience of a minimum of 5 dives: navigation, night and deep dives.
Not included: Diving equipment, diving insurance, medical certificate less than 1 year old, SSI professional registration if you choose the Pro part. (50€+VAT).
How to do it?
Send us the billing copy, your SSi ID and we'll activate your online diving course so you can beging to study! If you don't have an ID, create a SSi profile (it's very important that you put a picture and an adress, we need it to certificate you!) https://my.divessi.com/register/ref/711303 We recomand that you download the app for most fluidity. Once the course is activated you have to fill the responsable diving form and the medical questioneer, its compulsary. You'll find the documents on your profile specifically in the "personal information" section.
