Stress is a major cause of diving accidents and has a negative impact on rescue situations. This programme teaches you the skills and knowledge necessary to recognise and manage stress, prevent accidents and deal appropriately with emergency situations faced by divers.

React Right is SSI's emergency training programme, which consists of the following core components: primary assessment, first aid and CPR skills, primary stabilisation techniques and includes two optional components: oxygen administration in diving emergencies and basic concepts of automated external defibrillation.

This program provides you with the skills and experience necessary to safely guide groups of certified divers, and is the first step towards a career as an SSI dive professional without the need to complete an instructor program. Professional Dive Guides can work for SSI Dive Centres, guiding dives in a variety of environments and conditions. You will earn SSI Dive Guide certification after completing this program.
